Hello Everybody,

eBridge Support Services is excited to announce that we will be launching a weekly support disucssion to keep our community up-to-date on current Support issues.
Each week we will focus on a Support issue which has proven particularly prevalent over the preceding week, with the idea of adding to our knowledge base in a topical and useful way.

We would like to make this discussion as relevant and as timely as possible, and so we encourage all of our clients and stakeholders to contribute your various experiences with the featured issue as a way of arriving at the collaborative resolutions that are so central in Support Services.

We are dedicated to maintaining an ongoing and productive conversation with our customers and partners on the issues which impact our businesses every day, and we hope for this weekly dicussion to be an opportunity to strengthen our customer relationships and incubate a culture of responsive dialogue and collaborative troubleshooting.

This is an important and serious mission for Support Services because we understand, just as our clients do, that you are not always judged when things go right, but it is when things go wrong, and how you fix them, that really matters.



With that, we would like to move on to our weekly featured Support issue:

This week, an issue impacting many of our clients is 3dCart’s global webstore API update.
3dCart webstore has recently updated their API to include CDATA tags in the OrderItems->Item node of API responses. According to 3dCart, this update will accommodate customers who use HTML code in product fields that would otherwise cause an XML parse error in the API response.

Over the past week eBridge has updated our connector to 3dCart to recognize CDATA tags to ensure production stability for all of our customers using 3dCart.
Over the coming week we will be working on a complete update to our 3dCart connector to maintain the seamless integration that our customers expect from our solutions.

Please feel free to share your experiences with this update, and our response, and we promise next week we will have a slightly less uncontroversial topic to really spark a useful conversation!
