For the past 17 years Jim has worked with entrepreneurs and business owners to increase their profits and improve the value of their companies. His clients have come from a wide range of industry sectors - including software development; some have a Canadian presence, others North American, some International.
Prior to founding ProfitPATH Jim spent 25 years working for several major corporations (including subsidiaries of Pitney Bowes, Xerox and ITT) in both Canada and Internationally. His orientation and expertise saw him spend much of his time starting and growing new or existing businesses. After holding a number of positions as a Marketing and Sales Executive he became CEO of the Canadian subsidiary of one of those companies.
Jim has an MBA from the Executive Progam at the University of Toronto and holds the CMC (Certified Management Consultant) designation.
Mic has over eighteen years broad-based experience working with innovation oriented companies. She held leadership marketing, business development, and product roles at Mozilla, Yahoo, CGI, itemus, and spent her earlier career at McKinsey & Company. In each role, Mic created 10s of millions in value by creating new product offerings, building and leading high performance teams and applying her business analytic and strategic acumen to growth opportunities.
Mic is a founding partner at Embarkonit.com where she focuses the leadership intelligence and skill set of her clients to improve performance and ensure success against their goals. Mic does this by listening to existing ideas and opportunities and working with the team to put structures in place to action, measure and transform these ideas into significant business results. Mic’s work has resulted in millions of dollars in increased value for her clients.
Kevin Tribe brings 30 years of hands-on experience working in North American software, computer hardware and professional services organizations. He’s worked at senior management levels with multi-nationals, mid-sized firms and has been the President and CEO of several software companies. Having successfully completed acquisitions for the larger firms he worked with, he used those skills to invest in and build PointForce, a software developer of ERP solutions for the Supply Chain market. Growing organically and through the acquisition of several smaller firms he successfully sold the company to a publicly traded firm in 2003. He subsequently was made partner in a boutique M&A company before forming his own company in 2009.
Kevin is the owner and Managing Director of Tequity Inc., Merger & Acquisition advisors to entrepreneurs and shareholders of North American Software, Telecom and Technology businesses. These companies have strategic value beyond that shown on their balance sheets; in their Intangible Assets, Intellectual Capital, and Knowledge-Based Workers. Kevin and his team have assisted dozens of CEO’s and shareholder groups successfully achieve their personal and business objectives.
