Having said that there are a few tools you can use to cut costs as best you can. These tools are inexpensive, easy to use, and serve a purpose! Here are a few of our top inexpensive tools to help grow your eCommerce start-up.

1.  Dropbox: This is a tool that most have heard of or already have. With a free version available, it provides an easy avenue for document organization and sharing. Their free version provides each user with 2GB of free storage. This is a good start, however if you need more, they provide paid plans as you grow.

2.  KeyPass: These days, you need a password for everything! It can become troubling to try and remember all of them, and have to go through some of the long process of resetting when you lose them. Keypass allows you to manage your passwords and keep them in one secure place. In the end you only need to remember one password, the one for Keypass! Their database is encrypted and uses secure processes to keep your passwords safe. This is also a free tool!

3.  Evernote: For those business owners who have a poor memory, this is the app for you! It can help you remember everything (hence their cute elephant logo).This also takes the work out of syncing your devices because it does the heavy lifting for you. 4.  VSCOCam: This is a great photo editing app that allows you to add that professional finish to all your photos. It’s quite impressive how many editing tools this app provides. From light altering to cropping, this tool has it all. Did we mention it’s free?!

5.  Canva: This is a great content tool for online retailers! It can create great content for your social media and communication strategy. Using the image assets you’ve created, you have the ability to create free graphic content that is original and yours to keep! This is great when starting to build your brand and creating that look to all your social content. Again, completely free!

6.  PEEK: PEEK is a fairly new tool for online retailers, but provides great insights into the functionality of your online store. The technology behind it provides you with a completely unbiased look at your site’s usability. This tool can potentially help increase conversions and customer service levels!
