Thursday, December 28, 2017Lauren Macdonald
The emergence of smartphones, social media, big data, and cloud has fundamentally changed how brands interact with their customers. Instead of churning out bland sales pitches, marketers have shifted to building lasting relationships with their client base. According to a recent study by Econsultancy, a large percentage of consumers don't mind spending more on a product as long as they receive a better customer experience.
So, how will customer experience marketing define 2018? What trends should companies watch out for in the coming year?
Looking for an iPaaS strategy
Thursday, December 14, 2017Lindsay Hampson
IT leaders are divided into two camps: those looking for an integration strategy, and those looking to improve upon their current integration platform.
After informally polling IT leaders during the #GartnerAPPS summit early December in Las Vegas, we uncovered common priorities and obstacles encountered when looking for an integration solution.
When implementing an API strategy in 2018 and beyond, there is nothing more important to IT than making legacy systems seamlessly connect to APIs and EDI trading partners.
Integration is rarely IT’s main job. “I understand processes and data, and the business. IT is valuable in the new digital business age. But, I’m not always the one provisioning new business apps.”
However, IT needs integration tools when making an application, trying to get data to an application purchased by a department head, needing to move data, migrating data, or when connecting to another business (B2B) such as trading partners using EDI. But, Central IT doesn’t have the time to develop point-to-point data flow maps.

The Difference Between White Hat and Black Hat SEO- Guest blog by Rand Marketing
Monday, November 20, 2017Lauren Macdonald
Back in the day--before the advancements of color TV--one of the best ways to determine the ‘bad guys’ from the ‘good guys’ at the start of a show would be to look at the hat they were wearing. If the hat was black, you could assume that they would be the ‘bad guy’ of the show, and if the hat was white, they were most likely the heroic, good character. This was especially true in the case of cartoons and old Western films. However, once color TV took over the film industry, this tactic was used less frequently. Nonetheless, the representation of light and dark still remains quite a popular theme in many Hollywood films. Believe it or not, just like the old, classic movies, there’s a ‘good guy’ and a ‘bad guy’ within the realm of SEO; we label them as White Hat and Black Hat SEO.

Monday, November 13, 2017Lauren Macdonald
At some point, keeping up with your growing order volume will become unmanageable. When your business starts receiving 200+ orders a month, it’s likely that manual data entry will no longer be a sustainable option if you hope to process and fulfill orders quickly, and accurately.
Here’s how you can solve your order entry problem using integration:

Wishing you could integrate ShipStation with CommerceHub? We can help!
Tuesday, October 31, 2017Lauren Macdonald
is one of the best platforms out there for enabling eCommerce merchants to import, organize, process, package, and ship their orders. It also comes with a wide range of features such as automated order importing, custom hierarchical rules, product profiles, fulfillment solutions, and more.
One thing merchants are noticing, however, is that ShipStation does not currently integrate with CommerceHub
. This means a lot of manual data entry to and from ShipStation for those merchants who sell their products in big-box retailers like Home Depot, Best Buy, Staples, and many others that require CommerceHub EDI connections.
For nearly 25 years, eBridge Connections
has been in the business of simplifying EDI
for retailers just like you. We have pre-built connectors for all of the leading big-box retailers who have strict requirements for EDI in order to stock their shelves with your goods. CommerceHub customers’ included!

What data should flow between my SAP Business One ERP and my Shopify/Shopify Plus store? And, how do I make that happen?
Friday, October 20, 2017Lauren Macdonald
Most online sellers using Shopify or Shopify Plus and SAP Business One understand why integrating the two can be helpful for improving their business process and boosting their overall customer satisfaction levels. But what many are unsure of is what data flows are most critical and should be automated between their systems.
Integrating Sage 300 to EDI Trading Partners is Hard and Expensive
Thursday, October 19, 2017Lindsay Hampson
Selling goods or wares to retailers is a technical and labor-intensive job. To be able to conduct business with retailers, EDI is mandatory. Retailers using Sage 300 as their ERP are not able to submit an order for a seller’s goods until they are able to communicate with their systems through their particular standard of EDI. Each retailer accepts EDI in a slightly different composition too.
