WEB ORDERS WERE GOING TO BE A PAIN
Everyday, millions of people buy products that are good for their health. Why? Because they know that healthy foods promote energetic bodies. With a CBD movement in action, Fresh Hemp Foods struck while the iron was hot. After creating their top products, including oils, protein powder, bars and hearts, Fresh Hemp Foods started selling instore and online. (Yes, you totally saw them at Costco last weekend.) While creating a new CBD online store, they decided that they could no longer enter online orders manually into their ERP, Sage 300. Getting ShipTo, Contact, Shipment, correctly was too risky to do via a human. And, it was slow. So, they looked for an integration solution.
THEY COULD AUTOMATE WITH INTEGRATION
Jen and her team had worked with eBridge Connections on another website integration in the past. The plan was to flow order data, in near real time, from their new WooCommerce store through eBridge’s conical integration platform middle, and over to Fresh Hemp’s Sage 300 ERP. Why? All-important order data for each of their new and returning online customers would move correctly (and quickly).
- Orders from WooCommerce → Sage 300
- Data populates appropriately and in correct fields in Sage 300: ShipTo, BillTo, Primary Contact, Carrier, Order #, Order Type, Date, etc.
- Shipments from Sage 300 → WooCommerce
- Data about shipments gets sent to WooCommerce: Shipment details such as carrier, tracking number, order confirmation, etc
HOW HAS EBRIDGE HELPED FRESH HEMP FOODS?
After interviewing the eBridge Connections Project Team, and connecting with Jen at Fresh Hemp Foods, the reason for the success of this integration (beyond a great integration platform) was fast replies from team to team during set-up! AKA: Working together.
Some other good news: apart from time savings and reduction in order errors, Fresh Hemp Foods can always add a new sales channel to their integration. eBridge’s integration platform is conical – data from the WooCommerce connectors feeds eBridge, and then out to their Sage 300 connector. Adding another connector, like Amazon, or an EDI trading partner, like Walmart and Loblaws, would be simple and fast.
